Abstract: The functioning mechanisms of land market of agricultural purpose in Ukraine are investigated in the article. The economic conditions of land market formation that determine the priority lines and economic contradictions of land market formation are investigated. The author analyzes and suggests the measures of improvement of effective land use mechanism.
