Abstract: The article points Heydar Aliyev's role in the development of independent Azerbaijan, development of the economic model of the country, which contributed to the dynamic socio-economic development and the international prestige of Azerbaijan in the context of globalization. As a result, regardless of the events taking place in the world oil markets, Azerbaijan will continue to optimize its economic success and provide the national economy with the highest growth rates.
