Abstract: National leader Heydar Aliyev noted: «The one of the most significant achievements of Azerbaijanis in XX century is a rapid development of science and education». Further development of Azerbaijan educational system in ÕÕI century is a continuation of education development strategy, defined by Heydar Aliyev. This strategy was developed and constructively implemented by his political heir – Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan.
