Abstract: The paper presents the essence and peculiarities of ecooriented approach to achieve sustainable development of the agricultural sector. The need to optimize the use of natural resources is grounded. The components of optimization through the implementation of international programs on environmental conservation are presented. The areas of cleaner production in order to preserve ecosystems are identified. The necessity of measures to minimize environmental risks from exposure conditions of globalization is proved.
