Abstract: A new cooperative model of the organization of the national economy is offered as a mean to effectively solve the problems of its competitiveness and steady growth under the conditions of recession and globalization. The analysis, conclusions, and propositions concerning the cooperative development course are conducted and described for the agricultural sector of the national economy, which defines its specialization in the system of international, territorial division of labour. Such specific innovative forms and instruments of the cooperative mechanism of establishing a steady, internal market as clusters and service cooperatives are discussed.
