Abstract: The article deals with the European experience of using landfill taxes. The comparative analysis of tax rate level, tax income and the structure of landfill treatment in the EU countries and Ukraine is carried out. The stages of price forming on landfill treatment services are defined. The efficiency assessment of such tax application is carried out.
