Reasonable Ways and Means to Provide Safe Nutrition of Ukrainian Population

Abstract: The current state of food security in Ukraine, particularly in terms of population's food safety is investigated, the issues as to the effectiveness of state control and supervision aimed at protection of consumer rights and ensuring quality and safety of food, problems of legal regulation in this market field, and disadvantages of Ukrainian regulatory system for safe nutrition are analysed. The field's problem issues are determined to formulate priority directions of state regulation in the field of population's nutrition. The approaches to form the mechanism of food safety in Ukraine are suggested.
