The necessity of inflation targeting in Ukraine

Abstract: The article reveals the essence and peculiarities of inflation targeting regime as well as causes for its implementation in Ukraine. The imperative elements in course of inflation targeting regime application are defined and analysed. The distinctive features of inflation targeting regime functioning in high-developed countries and under development ones are provided. Based on international experience, the author makes an attempt to define basic parameters of inflation targeting in Ukraine.
