Abstract: This article analyses the current issues of formation and development of financial control, the practice of formation and use of financial resources of the state, financial control optimization problems. The scientific approaches to the problem of reforming the system of financial control are investigated. Their main purposes, the causes of low efficiency of state financial control are defined. It is outlined the latest trends of the development of modern state financial control. The accented conclusions on the need for changes to the legal provision of public financial control system are provided.
