Abstract: In the article we analyses the structure of the financial mechanism of water management and suggest priority areas of development using modern tools of financial supplying of water resource field. Conceptual foundations of innovative mechanisms of interaction of relations in the field of water resources through public-private partnerships towards implementation of the concept of sustainable development are revealed. Directions of economic development policy formation on the basis of capitalization of water resources are defined.
