Abstract: The article is devoted to the development of complex economic and mathematical models of dynamic development of the transport system of Ukraine: identifying key areas of alternative strategies using SWOT-analysis, evaluation of the competitiveness of transport using probabilistic approach, the ranking of regions in Ukraine in terms of transport provision and innovative development, improving the methodology formation of cargo tariffs taking into account the risks and the use of fuzzy set theory, probability model updating of vehicles using the theory of Markov chains. The models of optimal choice of investment projects based on risks and other factors that affect the profitability, we developed complex forecasting models of performance prediction of the transport system of Ukraine in the short term.
