Abstract: The basic approaches to define the infrastructure are provided. The current state of railroad field as an important part of national infrastructure is analysed. Infrastructural problems in Ukraine are investigated using the methodology of infrastructure's monitoring. The measures to improve railroad field condition for short-term period of 2013-2014 are grounded.
