Abstract: In the article are grounded basic directions of implementation of European standards as a factor of increasing of competitiveness in food industry of Ukraine. It is investigated the current system of regulation the safeness of food products. It is analyzed the international tendencies in management with regulating measures of safety of food products. It is defined the system of measures directed to the implementation of European quality standards.
