Abstract: In the article, based on long-term statistics, it is analysed the main indicators of Azerbaijan's enterprises manufacturing leather, leather goods and footwear; employment indicators, the structure of business entities, the number and average price of imported shoes by countries; it is identified the reserves and proposed a set of organizational and economic recommendations for their rational use and development of sub-sector.
