It has been established that non-efficient system of banking supervision in Ukraine, risky competitive strategy of a considerable part of banking institutions in the face of destructive macro-economic trends and hryvnia devaluation have led to the bankruptcy of a number of leading banks. The issues of banking system operation have objectively affected the corporate sector as well, for a long time it is the banks' resources that have been dominating in the structure of external corporate financing. An essential transformation of regulatory approaches within the banking system aimed at its recovery is required. That, in its turn, will have a positive impact on the activities of the corporations.
