Abstract:
Satisfaction of needs in qualitative and affordable health care is dependent on economic system functioning of the state and health care system and the effectiveness of political governance of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health and health departments at the local level. A very important factor is the effectiveness of the interaction of economic system and political governance for the rational using of limited human and financial resources of the health system. In this article the directions of health care system development in Ukraine is disclosed by analysing results of the implementation models of health care system functioning in advanced countries. Their innovativeness is that we need a systematic approach of country's political leadership to create socio-economic conditions that would encourage people to maintain a healthy lifestyle and form demand for priority receiving medical care from a family doctor.
