Abstract:
A number of ecological and economic approaches to the definition of cultivated lands concept are investigated. It is substantiated that cultivated lands are formed because of interaction of the natural and potential complexes - areas where natural phytocenosis is replaced with agrophytocenosis, which determines its stability with all the elements of agricultural and engineering infrastructure. The main and immediate factors of cultivated lands transformation in Ukraine are classified. The subjects of management of cultivated lands elements by types of their participation in the transformation process are determined.
