Public-private partnership in forest economy: promising directions and problems of institutionalisation

Abstract:
In the article it is identified the main directions of spreading of public-private agreements in the sector of forest industry. Such directions are as follows: continuous and selective logging, use of wood from residues groves, forests recreation, exercising of recreational forest using, hunting economy, the construction of forest roads and afforestation of unproductive land. It is offered a differentiated approach to the choice of forms of public-private partnerships for specific areas of forest and forest-protection activities based on their level of attractiveness, state industrial and technological base of logging and wood processing as well as natural resource restrictions.
