Priority directions of drained lands using in Ukraine

Abstract: In the article the results of the study of priority directions of drained lands using in view of existing in Ukraine ecological, economic and social constraints and prospects for land management have been presented. The state of world flax market and the place of Ukraine within the global flax production have been characterized. The trends of biomass utilization, namely secondary wastes of flax production as a renewable source of power have been determined. The preconditions for renaturalization of drained land zones have been substantiated.
