Abstract:
The article outlines the criteria for determining key performance indicators of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". It has been determined that the development of management models of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" requires the formation of new vector management evaluation of the results of economic activity which should be based on the system of key performance indicators. The main goal of this system is to evaluate the performance of each production unit, which is aimed at achieving the main objectives of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" on one side and on the other - to show the relationship between the efficiency of each employee and the end result of the whole enterprise. It has been established that the key performance indicators should be accurate and balanced, clearly and specifically define the results, provide an opportunity to objectively evaluate the work and influence its outcome. It has been revealed that the railways of Ukraine use more than 70 indicators that eventually overlap, creating conditions for their dual account or mutual exclusion. Such a large number of indicators requires additional staff, loads of extra work and diverts attention to secondary issues. However, uniquely determine the effectiveness of the entity with one indicator is also impossible. Therefore, the definition of key performance indicators is a priority of each production unit specialists of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", the development of which should be based on the relevant criteria.
