Effectiveness of urban land use: theoretical and methodological principles and evaluation methods

Abstract: The article reveals the peculiarities of the urban land use over the last decade. The results of studies of formation and development of the methodological framework of assessing the effectiveness of land use of cities have been provided. The structural trends, methodological approaches and indicators of determining the efficiency of urban land use at municipal and local levels have been suggested.
