Abstract: The aim of this article is to expose some consequences of the standard theory of rationality, selected by its interest for the methodology. It will begin by the analysis of Popper’s claim of extending the economic rationality to all social sciences –the situational logic. It will continue with two foundations of the standard rationality, the normativist and the apriorist –Mises’s conception– formulated by the intention of consolidating it. Finally, they will be appraised critically.

Keywords: Standard racionality; normative racionality; situational logic; Misean apriorism. (search for similar items in EconPapers)
