Abstract:
The aim of this study is to analyze the infl uence that economic liberalism in the school of Salamanca has on the development of the institutions and organizations of its period. It is concluded that all of this orientation from the moral theologians at the School of Salamanca who are economists dealing with economic ma# ers, had the fi nality of reaching an institutional and organizational development that kept up with the demands of the time; contrary to the economic liberalism with orientation towards corporative capitalism that glorifi es rational election or instrumental rationality as the main principal towards the goal of maximum benefi t, promoting growth and economic development of the individuals within the organizations.
