Abstract: This article presents a brief analysis of various features that distinguish the frontier between San Antonio, Venezuela and Cúcuta, Colombia. The elements taken into account for this study are the observations of strengths, opportunities weaknesses and threats that play a role in the previously mentioned. In this case, we use the tool known as FODA Matrix or SWOT (in its English initials), with means of identifying the characteristics that each region presents and that are suggested by this technique possibly serving as contribution for the development of specific public policies in this area.
