Traditional Banking: Looking Forward to An Organization With a High Corporate Intelligence Quotient

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the transformations that must carry out the bank from the knowledge management to adjust to the Fintech sector of the economy. To reach this objective, the behavior of the traditional financial sector is initially explained, and within it, the bank as an organization that offers a large number of products and services. Afterwards, it is shown how the Fintech sector has disintegrated traditional financial products, to offer separate products to the new undertakings. Likewise, the definition of organization with a high corporate intelligence quotient is included, describing and analyzing the boundaries that the banks face in orden to become in an organization of this kind, and ending with the Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria Bank (BBVA) as an organization with these features.
