Economic development, corruption and fiscal transparency: relationships and proposals

Abstract: Analyze and study the relation between the corruption, fiscal transparency, and the economic development, constitutes a way to detect and prevent issues affecting the economic performance of the countries, violate people’s fundamental freedoms and make it difficult for them to enjoy their full, prolonged and healthy lives. This paper will focus on a study of correlations, that pretends to find evidence about the relations between the fiscal transparency, the corruption and the economic development. To do this, correlations are analyzed for a group of randomly selected countries between: fiscal transparency and the economic development during the period 2006-2012. Corruption and economic development during the period 2012- 2021 and the fiscal transparency and corruption during the period 2012-2021.
