La influencia de las ideas económicas en las políticas de la Argentina de principios de siglo XX

Patricia Audino

Estudios Economicos, 2004, vol. 021 (Nueva Serie), issue 42, 1-40

Abstract: The paper is organized in three essays. The first, it analyzes the influence of Henry George's ideas about the unique tax to the pure rent of land. Some disccusions about these questions were reflected at the first decade of the 20th century. The following research study the opposition sources to the dominant conception on the economic policies between 1900 and 1930. Such ideas mainly correspond to intellectuals associated with the Museo Social Argentino and the Review of Economía Argentina. The last essay clears the controversial case between economic theories and public policies design. Intellectuals near governments tried to apply centered programs of social improvement in the operation of a social conomic system
