Abstract: The paper analyzes the factors that have influenced the wages of Mexican workers before the Commercial Opening and the first and second stages of the Mexican trade liberalization. Unlike many of the research on this phenomenon, this paper finds that the average schooling has no significant effect on wages of workers in the first and second stages of trade liberalization
