Gobernanza para el desarrollo económico local: el caso coprodesu

Abstract: In the last decades, there has been a great interest of urban and regional economy for the influence of institutions and colective action in economic development. This change of perspective have come a long with a new concept involved, called governance. The present work analyses an especific case of territorial governance, el Consejo para la Producción y el Desarrollo de Coronel Suárez (COPRODESU) in Argentina. Throughout this investigation we can see how this organization work, the diferent policies that the institution implemented and we can also identify their main strengths and weaknesses. Finally, the article shows some general aspects on the future of COPRODESU's work, as a main agent involved on economic development
