Productividad de la tierra agrícola en el sudoeste bonaerense

Abstract: The objective of this paper is the analysis of the evolution of agricultural land productivity in the southwestern region of Buenos Aires (SOB) during the period 1970-2010, as well as a comparison with the same indicator at country level, that uses Divisia indices in its discrete version (Index Tórnqvist - Theil). In this version only Agricultural Land Productivity could be obtained because of the lack of complete information needed in order to calculate Total Factors Productivity. The results at regional level show a slightly decreasing trend in productivity of regional agricultural land
