Abstract: The thematic addressed in this paper refers to the Sectorial System of Innovation (SSI) of olive oil production activity in Rio Grande do Sul (RS). It was applied a systemic analysis to understand the development of a sector that produce a valueadded product in RS agribusiness, The methodological procedures were characterized as exploratory and descriptive, having been carried out bibliographical, documentary and field researches, throughout 2017. The main results indicate that this SSI has been more vigorous recently and is still in the process of consolidation
