Abstract: In this paper the author refers to the concept of economic resilience of Italian regions after the crisis of 2007. Different approaches were analyzed to understand in a better way the distribution of the well-being and the vulnerability in Italy with a particular attention for the region of Emilia-Romagna and her reactions after the natural disaster caused by the earthquake of 2012
