Abstract:
The study proposes a comprehensive monitoring system of a company’s activities, as well as a set of tools that allow determining the conformity of business trajectory to a specified target. The basis of the research is the analysis of the most common approaches to the monitoring of a situation in a company. Comparison of these concepts made it possible to create the authors’ toolkit that combines the elements of the systems that are most relevant to the purposes of the current study. The authors form the central methodological principles of establishing a monitoring system and then determine the procedure for its implementation. For testing the created toolkit, the authors use the data of an operating trading company. The proposed system is used to assess the status of key performance indicators, which helps to identify the threat of deviation of certain strategically important company parameters from the target values before the emergence of a crisis situation. The paper also deals with the remedial measures that allow rectifying the diagnosed situation.
