Abstract: Paper purpose - The main purpose of this paper is to highlight the general aspects regarding entrepreneurship and also to highlight the main personality traits of the entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is both a science and an art that has as a central element the entrepreneur. During time, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship represented a subject of study for many scientists. Approach/method -The paper approaches key aspects related to entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs such as: definitions, main characteristics and aspects related to the entrepreneurial networking. Findings – Although during time, scientists offered several definitions and characteristics of the entrepreneurs, it can’t be said that there is a general profile of the case because each entrepreneur has his own uniqueness. Originality/value – The paper presents general aspects regarding entrepreneurship such as: definitions, different points of view, entrepreneurial characteristics.
