Abstract: The paper addresses the concept of net added value, distribution and redistribution of net added value in the national economy. The dimensions of the concepts and the determined behaviors are closely related to the evolution of the national economy, but also to the state's power of intervention through income policies. The purpose of the paper is to present an analysis of the factors that determine the share of work in the net added value produced by the economy. In conclusion, the paper highlights the impact of the fiscal solutions adopted in Romania and will be debated how the net added value produced in the economy can be fairly distributed between, employees and the public budget, based on the criteria of equity, efficiency and sustainability.
