Abstract:
Sustainable economic growth is influenced, among other things, by the good functioning of the business environment, namely the creation of a predictable fiscal policy to support it and the stimulation of investments in high added value sectors, the simplification of taxation and the streamlining of internal processes. The objective of the paper is therefore to assess the current state of the Romanian economy, from the fiscal perspective, the efficiency of the tax system, to identify the risks determined by the application of fiscal policy, as well as the proposal of fiscal measures in order to support the business environment.
