Abstract:
The report presents a synthesis of theoretical facts from the issues of leadership and the qualities of the modern manager-leader, and it also reflects the results of a study of the manager-leader in social economy enterprises. The research focuses on the areas in which managers are aware of the need to develop their knowledge, as well as self-assessment of the leadership qualities that they themselves must possess. The research was provoked by the increasingly active discussion in the public space about the need for a new reading of the role and behavior of managers in business organizations. The study of leadership behavior is part of a larger study, the results of which are to be published. The aim of the work is to critically analyze and systematize the key qualities of modern managers-leaders, related to the theoretical postulates - traditional concepts and modern theses. Based on the conducted analyzes to develop a conceptual model for the development of leaders in the workplace.
