Abstract: The proposed work focuses on the specifics of the business environment considered and managed as an ecosystem and the challenges to strategic management that are provoked and conditioned by the new order of this type of socio-economic relations. The actuality of the research problem is argued precisely with the established need to improve the strategic management toolkit in the context of the upcoming changes. The aim of the report is to trace and critically analyze in a theoretical and practical-applied context the content range of the concept of "business ecosystem". On this basis, measures for improving the strategic management of the organization should be systemized and proposed.
