ISO 22301:2019 - a Tool to Increase the Organization's Preparedness to Deal with Crises

Abstract: Crises are part of the daily lives of organizations today. Dealing with them requires adequate management to prevent crisis situations or at least effective management of the organization in a crisis. This presupposes preliminary preparation and elaboration of various behavioral scenarios. Organizations are helped to draw up a crisis action plan. The purpose of the paper is to outline the opportunities provided by the implementation of ISO 22301:2019 for the preparation of management organizations in the event of a crisis situation and maintaining business continuity.
