Abstract: The pandemic has confronted us with an entirely new business reality worldwide. The development of social capital in this new business reality goes through the improvement of the condition of the workers and the working environment. The adaptation of employers and HR employees to working conditions and to the changing economic environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is extremely important at the moment. What new requirements and opportunities does the current situation pose to people management? What are the benefits and risks of working remotely? How will the HR function change in the future - these are just some of the questions that are trying to answer in this paper.
