Abstract:
This article deals with issues of economic convergence, integrated and territorial approach to regional development specifying the processes in rural areas. The objectives of this study are aimed at clarifying the integrated approach to rural development and the role of diversification and multifunctional use of resources for its implementation. The activities of diversification and multifunctional use of resources in rural areas are analyzed in the context and as part of the strategy for integrated development.
