Abstract: The demography science is an unique as far as it collects knowledge about the mass behavior of people and their biological and social reproduction since the first days of the mankind on the World. But still today there is area to be studied. It is explained herewith the main contribution of the Bulgarian researches to theoretical, applied and methodological aspects of the demography. They concern mainly the facing of the present challenges of Bulgarian development. This make them political orientable and topical.
