Electronic shelf labels - modern commercial innovation

Abstract: The popularity of Electronic Shelf Labels in modern retailing is constantly growing and it is expression of the advances created by adoption of electronic and communication technologies in business. The main aim of this paper is to reveal the theoretical aspects of the nature and characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of Electronic Shelf Labels and opportunities for their use in contemporary commercial business.
