The Labor Share of Income: Basic Trends (Bulgaria compared to other countries)

Abstract:
The article focuses on the key trends of the labor share in total income in the major developed countries, CEE countries and Bulgaria as well. A conclusion is made that the share of labor in developed countries and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe decreases but increases in Bulgaria. Despite the positive trend, the share of labor in Bulgaria is still far below that of most other countries.
