Abstract:
In recent years the strategic alliances are becoming more widely used in the business practices of the companies. In general they are regarded as a form of cooperation (integration, interaction or partnership) between independent organizations to achieve mutually shared common goals. The strategic alliances can be found in many and various forms which define the complicated nature of this phenomenon. The paper's aim is to present the different approaches to clarify the strategic alliance essence and to outline their characteristics and features.
