Abstract: Many global companies in the agricultural business, as well as in related businesses such as the production and sale of food products, are faced with the question of how to expand their market shares so that their activities will be wider and reach more users at economically favorable conditions for them. This article aims to identify approaches to expanding such businesses, their advantages and disadvantages and why in certain sectors of agribusiness some models for scaling are more appropriate than others models that may, for example, be preferred for businesses dealing with processed and ready-to-eat food products.
