Abstract:
This article explores new technologies, used in retail, for better satisfying consumer desires and improving the quality of commercial service. It presents advantages of mobile applications for increasing the number of customers, the capabilities of omnichannel and unified commerce for making purchases at any time and from anywhere, and new services that offer customer convenience. Comments are made on virtual and augmented reality technologies, self-service, online orders for FMCG retail sectors, mobile payments and beacon technology. Attention is paid to customer personalization and unique in-store experience that can help retailers satisfy consumer preferences.
