Abstract:
The role of the web applications in modern world is growing constantly. Along with this there is a more frequent discrepancy between their original interface and its Bulgarian version. It should be noted that it is meant the interface that is created in a language other than Bulgarian or its translated version. The incorrectly translated terminology results in difficulties when working with such applications. Thus the research paper describes some errors that emerge in the adaptation of the interface for Bulgarian consumers. In recent years, cloud–based file sharing and collaboration services such as Google Drive are very popular and they are used by a large number of users in Bulgaria. Therefore the researched errors are based on the analysis of the Bulgarian language interface of some of the popular Google applications. It has also been made an attempt to identify strategies for their removal.
