Abstract: This report considers the role of mediation, as the most effective method of alternative dispute resolution, in resolving conflicts in workplace relationships. The available evidence shows that mediation is most effective when applied for prevention and with the support of the organization through strategies, policies and processes, conducted by independent, experienced and qualified mediators.
