Abstract: Preventing the risk of accidents and fires with hazardous substances limits their consequences for human life and health, as well as for the environment in general. Therefore, an assessment of compliance with the necessary regulatory criteria and documentation of the classification of chemicals and preparations is needed. The purpose of this study is to perform an analysis of regulatory requirements related to chemicals and mixtures and to present a methodology for assessing and managing their compatibility during storage according to their hazard class. The adopted safety measures and requirements are aimed at ensuring the safety of the storage of hazardous chemicals and materials, because they cause many hazards to both human health and the environment. This material is aimed at business operators related to the transport and storage of dangerous goods, as well as companies that use and store chemicals as raw materials for the production of their chemical products.
